Happy New Year! New year, new you and all that stuff.

I know that for me, the start of a new year is an exciting time because it’s my starting line to work towards some outrageously fabulous and exciting goals as well as some tiny but meaningful goals.

All of the goals that I set are designed to stretch me, make me a little uncomfortable, step out of my lane and try new things. For me, that’s exciting. It keeps me motivated and focused – although sometimes it’s a little scary.

My goals are designed to improve my business, the way we serve our customers, the way I show up at work and at home, the way I care for myself, my family and my team. They are goals that are created in my head.

But this year is going to be a little bit different. I saw this pic on social media and it really resonated.

This year I’m going to engage my gut more, my intuition and my heart. I’m not saying that I haven’t been doing this in the past. But I’m now going to make a conscious effort to really tune in to what my intuition is telling me and I’m going to listen to it.

Practicing mindfulness has been a game-changer for me over the past few years, so I see this as just taking things up one more step.

And for me, that’s what keeps me growing, and I love it.

What does 2022 hold for you?
